Prayer Shawl Prayer

Our Thoughts and Prayers

Are with you.....

Here is extra warmth when the world seems cold,

An arm around you when you need it most

A hug to wrap you with loving care,

A comforting touch when you are feeling down,

A prayer you can feel to bring you comfort,

A gentle reminder how very much you are loved.

With loving prayer,

The Grace Episcopal Prayer

The Order of the Daughters of the King® (DOK)  is open to all women in the Episcopal     Church and the Anglican Communion. A daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service, and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.

The Vision Statement is: Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our Vision as Daughters of the King is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others and to become reflections of God's love throughout the world.  We invite you to share our vision!

The Mission of the Order is the extension of Christ's Kingdom through Prayer, Service and Evangelism.

A Daughter will love God and have affection for her neighbors, by the grace of God.  She must always remember that her love for Jesus is only real and true when she does in fact love and practice forbearance for her most unlovely neighbors.

A Daughter will pray for Jesus who is her intimate friend.  She prays regularly, for prayer is that of being, not just a physical or verbal position.  A Daughter's life is a prayer, born or acted out of love, not fear.

DOK meet the Second and Fourth Wednesdays at 4:45 pm in the Conference Room and then move on to the Eucharist Service at 5:30 pm.
